What is the role of technology in education?


How do we equip students with the skills they'll need for the future? With shrinking budgets and constant increases in demand for teachers' time, where and how does technology fit in?


These are just a few of the questions the Google for Education team will discuss with school leaders and education technology leads as they visit a series of locations throughout the UK, stopping off in schools using Google for Education technology in exciting and innovative ways.

Each event will be hosted from  10am  -  2pm and take place  at the following locations:

15 June, St Thomas More Catholic School, Blaydon, Tyne & Wear 

20 June, Barclay Primary School, London 

27 June, Coleg Cambria, Deeside, Wales


During the event you'll get hands-on with Google for Education tools, discuss and debate how technology can help address the challenges your school is facing today and hear from the host school on how they’re transforming their classrooms with technology. Google are hosting specific breakout sessions for school leaders and IT leads to fill you with inspiration to take back to your schools.
